Top-10 finish in Cabin Fever at Boyd's

On Saturday afternoon Pierce McCarter was back in action at Boyd’s Speedway (Ringgold, Ga.) piloting the Jim Beeman Motorsports No. 71 Late Model for the Cabin Fever 40. In a stout field of 43 Valvoline Iron-Man Racing Series entries, McCarter fell short of transferring into the A-Main via his qualifying effort, transferring him into the B-Main. Coming in third, Pierce locked into the 15th-starting position for the $4,000-to-win A-Main. Breaking into the Top-10, McCarter gained five spots in the 40-lapper to register a 10th-place finish.
