Schedule Adjustments Made to Busy Brewerton August Slate
BREWERTON, NY (JULY 24, 2024) - The final month of the 2024 regular season will be a busy one at the Brewerton Speedway and track officials have made a series of schedule adjustments to the slate.
August 2nd, The Reagan Companies and Schneider Packaging will present Brewerton's four star show of Tracey Road DIRTcar Modifieds, Dot Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, Mirabito 4-Cylinders and AmeriCU Mod Lites. A change to the show will see the 600cc Wingless Micro Sprints moving from August 9th to August 2nd in place of the Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Hobby Stocks.
On August 9th, NAPA Auto Parts will present Brewerton's 4-star show that will see an influx of AmeriCU IMCA STARS Mod Lites coming to Central New York to compete in the Beast of the East Showdown. Mod Lite teams from as far away as Texas and Florida are expected to join Brewerton's weekly field in search of a $2000 first prize as part of a three-night Central New York Mod Lite swing.
Monday, August 12 Brewerton Speedway will welcome the Super DIRTcar Series SummerFAST in a must-see event. The DIRTcar Pro Stock Series and the final night of the Mod Lite Beast of the East Showdown will complete the star-studded field.
Unchanged from the original schedule, Kids Power Wheel Races and the Hustling the Highway 600cc Modified Series join the action on Friday, August 16 along with Modifieds, Sportsman, 4-Cylinders and Mod Lites.
RJ Caruso Tax and Accounting and Empire Powersports present an August 23 show that has been adjusted. New that night will be the CRSA 305 Sprint Car Series taking the place of the Mohawk Valley Dirt Modified Series who will see their Brewerton debut pushed out to 2025. The Mirabito 4-Cylinders will now be idle on August 23 to make room for the expected large field of CRSA Sprints. The IMCA STARS Mod Lites will remain in action with their 2024 champion crowned.
The regular season ends on Friday, August 30 with the final 2024 visit of the ESS Sprints headlining the show. Championships will be decided for the Tracey Road DIRTcar Modifieds and Dot Foods DIRTcar Sportsman. AmeriCU Mod Lites, already scheduled as a non-point race in support of the Boone SuperNationals, will now be idle. Instead, the Mirabito DIRTcar 4-Cylinders will be on the card with the 2024 champion crowned that evening.
