Debby Claims Brewerton August 9 Racing

BREWERTON, NY (August 8, 2024) - With heavy rain from Tropical Storm Debby forecast for most of the day and evening, Brewerton Speedway officials have decided to cancel the racing program scheduled for Friday, August 9.

The Speedway gates will swing open again on Monday, August 12 for the Super DIRTcar Series SummerFAST special, featuring the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds, the DIRTcar Pro Stock Series and the 'Beast of the East' Mod Lite Showdown finale.

Fulton Speedway remains on schedule for Saturday, August 10 with Sail Panel Modifieds, Dot Foods DIRTcar Sportsman, E & V Energy Novice Sportsman and the Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Hobby Stocks. Sportsman will run double features with the June 8 feature being completed while Novice Sportsman will run their June 22 feature in addition to their regular show. The "Beast of the East Showdown" for Mod Lites remains on the card. The special event will pay the winner $2000.
