Bright Looking to Continue Winning Streaks With ARDC Midgets and at Bridgeport Speedway

Inside Line Promotions – COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. (Sept. 7, 2014) – Alex Bright is looking forward to extending his recent success during a pair of races this weekend.

Bright will take a three-race ARDC Midgets winning streak into Friday at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pa.

“I’m definitely looking forward to it,” he said. “I think it’ll be a real good track also because we’re running on Friday night. I think it will turn out to be a really good race and hopefully we can pick up the win and make it four in a row.”

Bright captured a victory at the track on May 25.

“It’s the perfect sized track for a midget,” he said. “It’s not big enough where everybody strings out and it’s not small enough where everybody wrecks. There’s usually two grooves. It puts on a good race for the fans. It’s my home track so I get a little more pumped up when I go there.”

With only three ARDC events remaining this season, Bright ranks fourth in the championship standings despite missing a couple of races. He also leads the series in feature wins with five.

The weekend will conclude on Sunday at Bridgeport Speedway in Swedesboro, N.J., with Bright driving a wingless micro sprint for Greg Stevens. It’s the only track where Bright has earned multiple wins this season.

“I’ve only been to Bridgeport twice this year and I’ve won both times,” he said. “That’s a confidence booster going in there.”
