NOW600 Lucas Oil National Micros Heading to Caney Valley Speedway for the Border-Town Showdown

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (Oct. 14, 2019) – The Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Tel-Star Technologies will head north to Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kansas this Friday and Saturday night for the Border-Town Showdown.

Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class will be in action both nights.

The last visit to the Caney Valley Speedway saw Frank Flud double up with the Winged A-Class and Stock Non-Wing feature event wins during Sooner 600 Week while Ryan Timms topped the Restricted ‘A’ Class.

Frank Flud leads the Stock Non-Wing National Championship over Jared Dunkin. Ryan Timms currently sits in the third spot with Chase Randall in fourth. The top five rounds out with Kyle Thompson.

In Winged A-Class competition, Frank Flud leads Cole Roberts. Ryan Timms sits in the third spot with Chase Randall in fourth and Ryder Laplante rounding out the top five.

Ryan Timms leads the Restricted ‘A’ Class National Championship with a 34-point lead over Ryder Laplante. Joshua Gentry holds down the third spot. Timothy Watson III is currently fourth with Conner Long making up the top five.

Friday Night: Pit gates open at 5pm, Hot Laps at 7:30pm and Racing at 8pm. NOW600 Pill Draw will be 5:15pm to 6:30pm. Drivers Meeting is at 6:45pm.

Saturday Night: Pit gates open at 2pm, Hot Laps at 4:30pm and Racing at 5pm. NOW600 Pill Draw will be 2:15pm to 3:30pm Drivers Meeting is set for 3:45pm.

Factory Stocks and USRA B-Mods will be in action both nights while the OCRS Sprint Cars and Stock Cars join in on Saturday.
