Caney Valley Speedway roars into 2024 with a variety of events
CANEY, Kans. (January 11, 2024) - A Total of 23 events featuring a variety of Late Model, Modified and Sprint Car events make up the Caney Valley Speedway schedule for 2024.
Late Models will see eight nights of racing highlighted by the Comp Cams Super Dirt Late Model Series $10,000-to-win Ed Johnson Memorial on June 1. This will be the biggest paying event ever held at Caney Valley Speedway and honors the life and accomplishments of former Caney owner Ed Johnson.
The new Rev Late Model Series will make two stops in 2024 and the Sooner Late Model Series will return for two events. Late Models will race three times during the CVS Weekly Series. The Rev late models are also invited to race in the Comp Cams Ed Johnson Memorial.
The $1,000-to-win March Madness Enduro will drop the green flag on the racing season March 10, and the season will end on October 26 with the Halloween Havoc Enduro.
Sprint Cars are always a popular draw at Caney Valley and the AmeriFlex Hose & Accessories OCRS winged Sprint Cars return for two shows. USL non-wing Sprints will also take on the Caney oval for two shows.
The new Heartland Modified Series will come to Caney on July 27th.
Twenty nights of racing will see a combination of USRA B-Mods, Factory Stocks, Pure Stocks and USRA Tuners racing in CVS Weekly Series competition. Sooner State Dwarf Cars will also compete twice with the CVS Weekly Series.
An exciting season with something for everyone is on tap for Caney Valley Speedway, and as always the schedule is subject to change as needed.
