NSA Series Visiting Six Tracks in Montana, Washington and Western Canada in 2017

Inside Line Promotions – BILLINGS, Mont. (May 10, 2017) – The NSA Series will kick off the 2017 season in a little more than one week.

After being revamped in 2016, the NSA Series is expanding this year by venturing to six tracks in Montana, Washington and Western Canada. The 21-race schedule opens May 19-20 at Electric City Speedway in Great Falls, Mont., for the Sprint Car Shootout.

The event marks the first two of nine shows for the 360ci winged sprint car series at the bullring this season.

BMP Speedway, which is a 3/8-mile oval located in Billings, Mont., and owned by NSA Series Founder Mike Quigley, will showcase five events this season.

Both Montana tracks will host Northwest Challenge Series events this summer as the NSA Series is partnering with the Washington-based Summer Thunder Sprint Series for 11 races titled the Northwest Challenge Series.

Skagit Speedway in Alger, Wash., and Central Washington State Fair Raceway in Yakima, Wash., will also put on Northwest Challenge Series doubleheaders along with Castrol Raceway in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Drayton Valley Speedway in Drayton Valley, Alberta, Canada, has a Northwest Challenge Series race as well.

Canadian Kelly Miller is the defending NSA Series champion as a total of 52 drivers from 12 states and Canada competed in at least one NSA Series race in 2016. Miller also claimed a feature victory along with Texas native Aaron Reutzel and Washington resident Trey Starks. Missouri’s Danny Lasoski swept the final weekend to become the only two-time winner.

Additional details about the season will be released in the near future.
