(Warrensburg, Missouri) After an unexpected week off, Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) roars back this Saturday on Midwest Coatings LLC night at the races with the first and only appearance this year of the POWRi War Sprint Series. All weekly divisions, including B-Mods, POWRi Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, and POWRi Midwest Mods will also take part in the action.

Midwest Coatings, Inc. is a family-owned business located in St. Louis, Missouri, that has been in business for over 20 years, many of those years as a primary business partner of CMS, Earl Walls, and Aspen Products. They are a water-based inks manufacturer and supplier that specializes in All WWA Pinnacle System Water-Based Inks and Paper Plate Coatings.

This weekend’s POWRi War Sprint appearance marks the second time the group has visited CMS. Previously the grouped raced at CMS in August of 2020 while a planned 2021 event fell to inclement weather. The top five on that night included Quinton Benson, Wesley Smith, Tom Curran, Anthony Nicholson, and Jack Wagner. Mention of driver name does not guarantee race appearance.

Saturday’s Timeline: Pit gates opening at 4:30, grandstands at 5, pill draw cutoff for drivers 6:15 (no passing points awarded if late check-in), pit meeting 6:30, hot laps at 7, and racing at 7:30 or after hot laps. Special Event Admission Details: Adults $20, Active-Duty Military and Senior Citizens aged 65 to 74 $15, Kids 6 to 12 years old $6, five and under free, seniors 75 and older and individuals permanently confined to a wheelchair are free in the grandstands. All pit passes are $40 regardless of age.

CMS is seeking business partners for the final weekend of racing, which takes place on Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4, for the annual Labor Day Weekend Special Events. The weekend will feature an assortment of car classes including the Cash Money Super Dirt Series Late Models, B-Mods, POWRi Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, POWRi Midwest Mods, and POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints. B-Mods and Midwest Mods will compete for added purse money during the weekend of events, as described below.

Special sponsor packages include three levels and offer a variety of weekend advertising and marketing and branding presence both at the track, on the socials, and through press and media outlets. Call or text Sam at 660.262.7469 for detailed information.
