Rain Ruins Season Finale at Beaver Dam Raceway
Beaver Dam, WI (9/12/2023) - Mother nature wanted Beaver Dam Raceway to go one more week, bringing rain to the track before the features rolled onto the track.
92 cars signed into the initial season finale. 16 EK Machines Unified Street Stocks, 25 Legends.Direct Legends, 18 Beaver Dam Tire and Service IMCA SportMods, 12 N&S Towing IMCA Stock Cars, and 21 Shepy’s Auto Body IMCA Modifieds made up the pits.
Heat races would go to Russ Davison and Dustin Ward in the EK Machines Unified Street Stocks. Austin Winkel, Hayden Schmuhl, and Eric Blumer won the Legends.Direct Legends heat races. Beaver Dam Tire and Service IMCA SportMod heat races went to Elijah Koenig, Jim Zdroik, and Skyler Woods. Rod Snellenberger and John Heinz picked up N&S Towing IMCA Stock Car heat wins. Ben Godlewski and Geoff Jeche won the Shepy’s Auto Body IMCA Modified heats.
Shepy’s Auto Body IMCA Modified heat three was on track as the rain moved in and put an end to the night early.
Championship night will be moved and tried again on September 19th, with fans, who were at the track when the rain came, are encouraged to save your wristband, as they will be honored.
