Cottage Grove, Oregon- In addition to the Wingless Sprint Series being in attendance at Cottage Grove Speedway, on Saturday July 7th, so were three support divisions. The Mohawk Metal IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sport Mods, and the Quality RV Repair Hornets.

Eugene’s Jesse Williamson visited victory lane for the fifth time at Cottage Grove in 2018 with the Mohawk Metal IMCA Modifieds. Jorddon Braaten took care of business in the IMCA Sport Mods for the fourth occasion this season. Braaten, of Central Point, also would sweep the 2018 Freedom Cup to win the three-race mini series trophy. Graig Osborne, from Creswell, returned to victory lane after a brief absence and it marked the fifth win in the Quality RV Repair Hornets.

Cottage Grove Speedway is back to racing on Friday, July 13th and Saturday, the 14th for the final two legs of the Western Sprint Tour sanctioned Speedweek Northwest. Support classes on Friday are Late Models and the Quality RV Repair Hornets. Saturday support divisions will be the same two with the Street Stocks added to the card.
