Dawson County Raceway Moves to Westhold Scoring and Timing System
The Dawson County Raceway is excited to announce that we have secured a partnership with Westhold Scoring Systems. This will be a big addition to the fan experience along with a vital asset to the Dawson County Raceway and its drivers!
Through the MyRacePass app on your phone or computer, you will now be able to see what drivers have checked in to the races along with their lap times and even see the race lineups before the cars hit the track! It will also operate our new LED Downey Drilling Lap Counter that will be visible to the fans and the drivers.
We are very excited about this investment we are putting back into the racing experience at Dawson County, said promoter Chad Dolan. This is a $12,000 investment that we will be allocating sponsorship dollars and admission dollars to help pay for. Putting back into the experience and getting with the times is what we are after, said Dolan. Most all of the racing facilities across the State of Nebraska and the country are utilizing a system like this.
Drivers can purchase the transponder equipment from the Dawson County Raceway on the registration page or by calling the raceway office at 308-325-1680.
