Scott Maneuvers to Thursday Night win at World Modified Dirt Track Championship
SPRING VALLEY, Minn. (July 26) -- Stormy Scott has shown a penchant for stepping up his game when the stakes are high, and Thursday night at the Deer Creek Speedway he came through again with a thrilling victory during the second qualifying night at the 2nd Annual World Modified Dirt Track Championship.

Ryan Ruter scored the maximum points possible in his qualifying session and his heat race, which put him on the pole for the feature race. Using the shortest route around the high-banked 3/8-mile oval, Ruter paced the first three laps but Rodney Sanders rode the high line into the lead as they completed the fourth lap.
