SPRING VALLEY, MN – August 31, 2012:  (Photo Courtesy of Buck Monson Photo)  Looking for something to do this weekend?  How about something the entire family can enjoy?  What if I told you I have the perfect idea and by the way, it won’t cost you anything!

That’s right, at 2:00 this Saturday afternoon the Truck Country Slingshots will take the green flag for the final time in 2012 and you can enjoy the action from the grandstands for FREE!

For the last few months the future stars and their cars have entertained us week in and week out.  These pint-sized pilots have proven that age is just a number and that a big heart, hard work and determination will power you to new levels.

For some it will be their last time climbing in the cockpit of a Slingshot as rumors are in the air of some who will be moving up to compete on Deer Creek Speedway and to follow in the footsteps of past Slingshot drivers who have also made the big move.  Drivers such as Lucas Schott, driver of the #69 USRA/USMTS Modified and Parker Hale, driver of the #28 USRA B-Mod, both of which have feature wins on Deer Creek Speedway in 2012, both whom are success stories of the Slingshot program. ivermectin dr kory

For others, this will be the final event to a season full of accomplishments big and small. ivermectin counseling points   For some this was their first season and their goal was to finish on the lead lap and as the year progressed they found themselves in victory lane.  For many others the level in which their driving skills elevated were very obvious.  Many of these accomplishment brought smiles to not only the driver but proud parents, grandparents and teammates alike. simpiox para que es

We need to thank everyone involved because they have proven that racing has the ability to bring families together, to push each other to achieve things they never thought possible and that dirt track racing is still one of America’s favorite pass times for so many reason.

If you’ve never witnessed a Slingshot race NOW is the time.  These drivers start as young as six years old and can travel up to speeds of over 60 mph!  Come and check them out at this Saturday at 2:00 then stick around for one of the most highly anticipated events on Deer Creek Speedway, the BP Labor Day Duel presented by Baudoin Oil which starts at 5:00.
