Jarett Andretti to compete at The Creek during USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship

Autograph session from 4:30-5:30 on June 21st at Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN

SPRING VALLEY, MN - June 17, 2014:   Jarett Andretti, son of John, nephew of Michael and great nephew of Mario continues to carry on the historic family tradition.  At the age of 21, the third-generation racer is in his fourth full season behind the wheel of competitive racing and will pilot a high powered USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car in 2014.

Jarett has progressed over the years in several different series including winning a championship in the USAC Eastern Ignite Pavement Series and last season was awarded with the Rookie of the Year honors in the Sprint Car category at Lawrenceburg Speedway in Indiana.

This Saturday, June 21st Jarett will hit the high banks of Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, MN but before the green flag flies fans will have a chance to meet not only Jarett but his father John and other USAC AMSOIL drivers during an autograph session from 4:30-5:30 near the main grandstand area.

Fans can also get their hands on the latest Jarett Andtrett racing t-shirts at the Deer Creek Speedway merchandise trailer.

The USAC AMSOIL Sprint Cars will headline the historic event in front of what’s expected to be a one of the largest crowds at the speedway in 2014.  The WISSOTA Super Stocks, WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds and the WISSOTA Street Stocks will also be competing.

Fans will get an extra bang for their buck as the Truck Country Slingshots will be competing that afternoon at 3:00 on the recently resurfaced high banks of Button Buck Speedway located in the middle of Deer Creek Speedway.  Don’t forget that the afternoon events are FREE in the grandstands!

Kids on hand for the event will get to take part in the Deer Creek Speedway Kids Club and the ever popular free face painting.

General admission tickets for the event can be purchased at the ticket window on the day of the event.

Kids 12 & under are $10 and adults are $25.  Pit passes are $35 and can be purchased at the pit gate entrance.
