Deer Creek Speedway
Race of Champions Qualifier this week at The Creek
The feature winners of each WISSOTA division this week will be locked into the Race of Champions at the annual WISSOTA 100
SPRING VALLEY, MN – August 14, 2014: Wagner Trucking out of Orchard, IA has set the stage for one of the most action packed events of the season. With only two races left in the 2014 track points title chase the action is sure to heat up.
Track point titles won’t be the only thing drivers are after this weekend as this event has been slated as the Race of Champions Qualifier. The winner of the WISSOTA Super Stock, WISSOTA Midwest Modified and WISSOTA Street Stock divisions will be locked into the Race of Champions during the annual WISSOTA 100.
Fifteen drivers will have the hammer down and their eyes on the $5,000 prize as this week marks night #2 of the three week Dash for the Ethanol Cup. Cole Queensland holds a slim 4 point advantage in his #20 USRA B-Mod over Mike Blowers, driver of the #34 WISSOTA Street Stock. Both drivers have their eye on the top prize but they better not forget about Jeff Brauer, driver of the #34 WISSOTA Super Stock who is only 9 points out of the top stop.
The small stars and their cars will start the day off as the Truck Country Slingshots hit the Button Buck Speedway shortly after their 2:30 pit meeting. The Pee-Wee division feature event will be held under the lights of the big show later in the evening.
The Driver Pit Crew Challenge will highlight the Kids Club event at 4:30 and kids are urged to get their early for the ever popular face painting.
