Pink Out at Deer Creek Speedway

Join us Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Deer Creek Speedway (15 miles South of Rochester, MN on U.S. Highway 63) for a day to honor breast cancer survivors and raise awareness about breast cancer.

As always at Deer Creek, expect explosive stock-car racing action at one of the most state-of-the-art racing complexes in the country. A full-service campground is located within the facility, so fans can make it an all-day event!

All afternoon     Tailgating in the parking lot

2pm                  Pit gate opens and slingshot races (ages 6 to teen) on Button Buck Speedway begin

2:30pm             Grand Stands open and ticket sales for Deer Creek Speedway begin

6pm                  Deer Creek Speedway races begin

Tickets are available in advance at deercreekspeedway.com or by calling the speedway at 877-DCS-RACE. Tickets are $12 per person for general admission grandstand seating, FREE for children 12 and under, and $30 per person for pit access.

Experience the speedway like never before as we aim to have as many fans as possible decked out in pink! We will have one-of-a-kind Deer Creek Pink Out shirts on sale online at deercreekspeedway.com or at the speedway for $15 each ($2.50 from the sale of each shirt goes to Join the Journey).

We will have a 50/50 raffle with half of the proceeds going to Join the Journey and the rest to the lucky winner! Join the Journey will be selling a variety of pink-ribbon merchandise at the event, so look for Join the Journey’s pink table. Fans can also show their support at our live and silent auction!

You won’t want to miss this action-packed day in support of breast cancer survivors. Fun for the whole family!

Join the Journey

Join the Journey was founded in 2005 in Rochester, Minnesota. What started out as a basket of scarves and hats being passed among friends who were newly diagnosed with breast cancer, quickly evolved into Join the Journey. Breast cancer survivors Effie Psimos and Patty Allen along with close friend Margie Loprinzi recognized a larger need than the basket could handle and came together with the hope of raising awareness of breast cancer and helping everyone with this disease in our local community.

 

Join the Journey has evolved into an established non-profit, community organization that supports programs and projects that uphold the mission of promoting breast cancer awareness and providing support to individuals on their breast cancer journey.
