The Deer Creek Speedway hosted a very special night of racing on Saturday. It was Veterans Night at the track and Clements Chevrolet of Rochester provided free admission for all military veterans, current military and a guest.

The event was a fundraiser for the (DAV) Disabled American Veterans and specifically the Mayo SE Chapter 28. All of the money raised will stay to help veterans in southeast Minnesota.

There were t-shirt sales, a raffle, silent auction, live auction, 50/50 ticket sales and the push up challenge for the feature winners. Businesses and individuals donated one dollar for each push-up the feature winner could do.

Along with Clements Chevrolet, Barclay Landscaping also helped present the show along with Ruhlow Farms. Barclay Landscaping put an extra $200 for the feature winners in the USRA B-Mods and an extra $100 for second place. Also anonymous fan kicked in an extra $2000 for the USRA Modifieds with an extra $1000 for the winner and the rest spread throughout the field.

A field of 33-National Fleet Graphics USRA B-Mods were whittled down to a 24-car pack for their 18-lap feature. J.T. Wasmund took off from row one to lead the early laps.

Several cautions slowed the pace in the first few laps. Miah Christensen dove low and nabbed the lead on one of the restarts. Unfortunately for Christensen the start was called back for another caution. Wasmund would not let that happen to him again and held his ground up front.

Wasmund led the rest of the way for his first win of the season. Wasmund then ripped off 35 push-ups worth $22 a piece in victory lane for the DAV. Christensen took a second place finish with A.J. Zvorak third. Jerry Young was fourth and Jim Chisholm finished fifth.

Danny Richards started on the pole for the Adams Graphix WISSOTA Street Stock feature and never looked back. Blake Adams started fifth and worked to second on lap two and tried to hang with Richards.

There was a yellow on lap four that allowed Adams to make a run at Richards. Adams got alongside but was unable to make the pass. Dustin Doughty had issues in his heat race and started 16th in the feature. He was on the fly and got to the top five on lap 12.

Richards opened up the lead and was gone on lap 14. Doughty caught Adams and took second on lap 16. Richards took the win and did 15-push-ups in victory lane in celebration of his 15th win this season. Doughty’s charge ended in second with Adams third. Braden Brauer finished in fourth and Bobby Blowers ran fifth.

Ryan Goergen has had a tough season so far in the Dirt Doctor Trucking WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds. Goergen started on the pole and jetted away from the pack. Dan Wheeler was on the move from ninth and drove past Tianna Mithun and Peter Leuschner to third on lap two.

While Goergen opened up a huge lead, Wheeler then challenged Josh Crary for second. Wheeler made the pass and then set his sights on Goergen. Alex Williamson was also on the move and got to third.

Wheeler rapidly closed in on Goergen, but Williamson did the same to Wheeler. The top three were close on lap 13 and Williamson tried in vain to get past Wheeler for second. The trio stayed tight until the final lap.

All three ran the top, but Wheeler drove in lower in turn three on the final lap. طريقة الربح Ù?ÙŠ الروليت Wheeler then tried to pull a slider on Goergen and made contact in turn four that pushed Goergen into the wall. Wheeler got to the line first with Williamson second and Goergen third. Crary finished fourth and Don Schaefer was fifth.

Front row starter Brian Fetting would take charge in the Brauer Roofing WISSOTA Super Stock feature. Fetting would open up a big lead and let the pack battle it out behind him.

Fetting was long gone when Neil Eckhart got to second on lap eight. Eckhart plugged away at Fetting’s lead while Casey Underdahl and Jeff Brauer raced for third. Eckhart caught Fetting on lap 15 and started to challenge.

Eckhart slipped past on lap 17 and took his third win of the season. Fetting would finish in second with Brauer third. Underdahl finished in the fourth spot and Schatney Sanders was fifth. Eckhart who is scheduled for back surgery this fall managed to kick out 10-push-ups.

Nate Wasmund came off the pole to lead the NAPA Auto Care Centers USRA Modified feature. Wasmund ran the low groove, but Keith Foss cranked things up on the very upper part of the track. Foss shot past on lap two and brought Dustin Sorensen to second.

Joe Horgdal and Jake Timm had a terrific race going for fourth with Brandon Davis fifth. Jason Cummins stalled on lap five to tighten things up for the restart. مراهنات كرة قدم Timm bolted low to third on the start and then by Sorensen to second. Wasmund, Horgdal and Davis had a great battle for fourth.

Sorensen got back to second and then on lap six there was contact amongst the leaders and Timm along with Horgdal came to rest on the track. Timm was sent to the tail and Horgdal was done for the race. Another yellow flew for a Blake Arndt who slowed while up with the leaders.

Foss took off but was challenged by Sorensen on lap 18. Davis slipped into third and took off after the leaders. All three were on the bitter edge on the top side. طريقة الربح Ù?ÙŠ الروليت That bit Sorensen on lap 19 when he bounced off the concrete and Davis bolted past.

Foss led, but Davis challenged with a couple of laps to go. Foss got past a slower car with perfection on the final lap and took his first win of the season. Foss did 26-push-up after his big win. Davis was second with Sorensen in third. Wasmund finished in fourth and Josh Angst was fifth.
