Davis, Brauer, Hale, Weiss & Richards Top Deer Creek

This week at Deer Creek Speedway, Clements Chevrolet of Rochester presented Military Night. This event was to honor all military veterans and current serving military members and their guests with free admission. Blake Severson and Paul Apenhorst of Farm Bureau Financial Services provided the free admission to those who served.

There were fund raising efforts to raise money for the Disabled American Vets (DAV) with all money staying in the region. There were t-shirt sales, a raffle, silent auction, 50/50 drawing and the push-up challenge for the feature winners. With all of those effort preliminary total of over $22,000 was raised for those in need.

Over 100-race cars signed in for the second to last night of track points. Several drivers added to their win totals and one would score their first win. With the push-up challenge, the five feature winners raised $9600. Parker Hale shattered the all-time push up record when he ripped off 80 push-ups after his win.

Tianna Mithun led the Dirt Doctor Trucking WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature with Peter Lueschner close behind. Mitch Weiss charged from eighth and passed Christopher Deno for third on lap 2. Ryan Goergen cracked the top top five and closed in on the leaders. A caution flew on lap three to keep the field close.

On the start, Weiss bolted to second and then challenged Mithun for the lead. Weiss took the spot to complete lap three, while Goergen was now fourth. Goergen then made his move to second on lap five, but Weiss had opened up a lead.

Nick Koehler used the top side of the track to move into the top five and then glided past Lueschner for third on lap eight. Koehler continued his charge to the front when he passed Goergen for second on lap 11. Weiss held a good sized lead, but Koehler quickly cut into the advantage.

On lap 15, Koehler was within striking distance and tried to set up Weiss for the pass when the caution came out. Weiss got a good start, but Koehler quickly reeled in the leader once again. The white flag came out and Koehler zoomed in.

Koehler was on Weiss’ rear bumper down the backstretch and set him up for a slide job in turn three. Koehler executed the pass in turn four, but Weiss stormed back to the inside. Weiss edged past and won his fourth of the year by .06 of a second with Koehler alongside in second.

Goergen finished in third while Jason Haugerud raced from 11th to fourth and Michael Wytaske was fifth.

The Adams Graphix WISSOTA Street Stocks had A.J. Zvorak up front early while they were four wide behind him for second. After a quick yellow, Zvorak was challenged by Ryan Jacobsen and Dustin Doughty. Then Nick Schwebach along with Braden Brauer moved to third and fourth.

You could throw a blanket over the top six at this point.

Danny Richards went to the top side of the track and found something. Richards quickly moved towards the front and passed Zvorak on lap five for the lead. Richards would lead the rest of the way for his second win of the season.

The race for second was good with Braden Brauer taking the spot over Zvorak who finished in third. ivermectina tabletas precio colombia Doughty would finish in the fourth spot and Mike Blowers who started 15th got all the way to fifth at the checkered flag.

Levi Chipp led the National Fleet Graphics USRA B-Mod feature with Doug McCollough second on lap one. Brandon Maitland passed Channing Warner for third with Jim Chisholm close. Maitland and Chisholm then battled with McCollough for second.

The caution came out on lap five when Chisholm tangled with Maitland in turn four. Maitland was done and Chisholm changed a tire and returned. This incident set up a restart that Parker Hale would take advantage of.

Chipp still led, but Hale used the low groove and was up to second. Hale continued to move in the low groove and made the pass for the lead on lap seven. Kadden Kath was also on the charge from 12th and was close to the top five.

Hale would drive on to his first win this season. Kath passed McCollough for third on lap eight and then got by Chipp on lap 14 for second. Hale was long gone by then so Kath ended up second. Chipp had a great run in third with McCollough fourth and Shaun Walski was fifth.

Phil Kendrick took off at the start of the Crenlo WISSOTA Super Stock feature, But Dennis Dunbar led lap one. Jeff Brauer moved to second and then took the lead on lap three. Kendrick was challenged by Kevin Hager and Neil Eckhart and Brandon Duellman was right with that trio.

Eckhart and Hager dispatched Kendrick and then were three wide with Dunbar for second. Brauer opened up a big advantage and Eckhart was up to second. Duellman continued to use the high side in a good race with Hager and Dunbar for third.

Brauer was long gone when Duellman got to second on lap seven. Then Eckhart’s night ended when he slowed and glided to the infield on lap 13. Brauer continued to hold a big lead and Duellman could not cut into the advantage.

Brauer took his second win of the season and his 61st at Deer Creek. Duellman was second with Dunbar in third. Ryan Wiome rebounded from 13th after a crash in his heat race to finish fourth and Schatney Sanders was fifth.

Twenty-eight NAPA Auto Care Centers USRA Modifieds took the green for their 25-lap feature. It got off to a rough start on lap one when nine cars piled up in turn three. drench gun ivermectin Alex Williamson took the early lead, but Jacob Bleess offered up a challenge right away.

Bleess took the lead while Joe Ludemann and Cory Crapser were at it for third right on the tail of Williamson. That trio then went three wide for second with Crapser getting the advantage on lap three. Brad Waits then took over fourth and Brandon Davis moved into the top five from ninth.

Bleess continued to set a torrid pace with Crapser close behind. Waits passed Williamson for third and Davis drove to fourth. The leaders started to enter lapped traffic on lap 13 and this would change the complexion of the race. Waits and Davis were now racing for third and Dustin Sorensen cracked the top five.

Davis got by Waits and then set after Crasper for second while the leaders diced through the lapped cars. Davis zipped past Crapser for second on lap 19 and then closed on Bleess for the lead.

Bleess had lapped cars three wide in front of him that posed and issue for him. Davis used the low groove to steal the lead on lap 20. Davis then made a great move to get by a couple of lapped cars with one to go that edged him away from Bleess. ivermectin 12mg use

Davis won his sixth of the season, fifth in a row and 57th at Deer Creek. Crapser used the lapped traffic to finish second and Brad Waits was third. Bleess ended up fourth and Sorensen was fifth.
