JOE WARREN GETS 5TH CRATE MODEL WIN ON FINAL LAP
Joe Warren drove a calculated race to earn his fifth win of the season in the 15-lap Crate Model feature. Rookie Cody Dawson led the first three laps before Tyler Reed moved on top. Dawson held off Mike Wilson then Joe Warren in the early stages.
Warren worked his way around the outside of Dawson with four to go and closed on Reed. Warren tried both the high and low grooves and finally edged on top as the white flag waved.
Warren went on to take his fifth checkered with Reed second and Dawson posting a personal best in third. Fourth went to Wilson and Mike Wharton came from 17th to finish in fifth. Fast time in qualifying was set by Nick Davis.
