WEATHER WIN STREAK AT THREE FOR DELAWARE INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY
By Charlie Brown, Delmar, DE (7/21/12) – While no one can argue that the state of Delaware needs rain, drivers and fans alike wish that Mother Nature would leave Saturday nights alone. For the third consecutive week, (once for excessive heat and twice for rain),action at the Delaware International Speedway has had to be cancelled.
The weeks off due to the weather may have a silver lining as the break has allowed teams to save up and fix up their cars. A strong field is expected this Saturday night, July 28th which will be Pepsi Night plus the twice rescheduled Tony Steele Memorial for the Vintage Stock Cars. Included  on the program will be the NAPA Big Block Modifieds, Super Late Models, Crate Models, AC Delco PSC Modifieds, Mod Lites, and Little Lincoln cars.
Gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 7 p.m. General admission is just $15 for adults with children 13 and under free. Pit admission is $25.
