TIM WHITE GETS 1ST WIN IN EDGE RACING MOD LITE

Kirk Miles, Sr. led the first lap of the 15-lap Mod Lite feature. Tim White shot from fifth to first by lap two and Alan Passwaters followed into second. The first and only yellow flew on lap five when Ryan Dryden got around. The top five at this point were White, Passwaters, Jake Nelson, Jason Musser and James Hill. By the halfway mark, Hill had worked into second. Hill began to slowly close on his team car driven by White. Hill would get to within a couple of car lengths but White would make no mistakes as he took the checkered flag ending a long winless drought and picking up his first win since moving to the Edge Chassis team.

Hill had a very profitable night in the points finishing second after winning his heat, moving him into the point lead from third. Mike Stratton, the point leader coming into the night, continued to be snake bitten as he crashed his new car in the heat then had the suspension break while running the pace laps for the feature. Jimmy Wills, who came into the night second in points was absent. Third went to Passwaters with Nelson fourth and Ray Gulliver fifth. Jason Musser was the other heat winner.
