ERIC VENT GETS 2ND WIN IN CRATE MODELS
Zac Weller looked fast leading at the start of the 15-lap Crate Model feature. Aleesa Young held the second spot until Mike Wilson got by her. The one and only caution of the race came o lap four when Young and Sparky White tangled.
Action heated up on the restart with Tyler Reed climbing into the second spot. Reed went on to take the lead from Weller on lap eight but was only able to hold the top spot for a circuit before Eric Vent went to the front. Once out front Vent would be able to fend off Reed for the remaining distance to post his second win of the season. Weller turned in a season’s best finishing in the third spot with Robbie Walls, Jr. fourth and Matt Hill fifth. Heats were won by Weller and Hill.
