TIM WHITE WINS MOD LITE FALL CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER

The Mod Lite feature was a 20-lap Fall Championship qualifier and provided lots of action. Aaron VanVorst lead the first three laps before Tim White moved on top. James Hill climbed to third before his engine started to sour and Ray Gulliver took the spot. Gulliver got by VanVorst for second just before halfway and began to pressure White for the lead.

Gulliver was able to move on top with four to go but got out of shape in turn four and spun to bring out the yellow. This put White back on top with “Nitro Nick Sapp taking up the challenge in second. Sapp would suffer the same fate as Gulliver on lap later bringing out the yellow again.

White would restart with defending point champion Mike Stratton on his bumper. VanVorst was not out of the picture as he kept pressure on Stratton but it would be the former champion, White taking the checkered. Stratton finished in second with VanVorst posting a personal best in third. Fourth went to Ryan Dryden and Jason Musser rounded out the top five. Heats were won by Gulliver and Hill.
