IT'S OFFICIAL - KEVIN SOCKRITER GETS 2ND AC DELCO WIN
The AC Delco PSC Modified feature saw Danny Smack take control at the drop of the green with Kevin Sockriter quickly working into second and Brandon Watkins held down third. Smack held on to the top spot through several early race cautions and at the halfway sign the top five were Smack, Sockriter, Richie Wilson and Dwayne Crockett.
Sockriter kept the pressure on Smack until with five to go was able to squeeze under him in turn two and take the lead. Sockriter would pull away and earn his second checkered of the season while Smack turned in a personal best finishing in second. Third went to Scott Hitchens with Richie Wilson fourth and Carson Wright, coming from the rear after an early spin to round out the top five. The finish was unofficial until the completion of tech on Monday when Sockriter's car was found to be legal. Heats were won by Sockriter and Kenneth Peek.
