JAMES HILL RETURNS TO OWN CAR, WINS EIGHTH OF SEASON IN MOD LITES
The one and only caution in the 15-lap Mod Lite feature flew before the first lap was complete when Jake Nelson got around. Curt Miles, Jr. led the first two laps before Nick Nash moved on top. Nash’s lead was short lived as James Hill, who was back behind the wheel of his own No. 1, came charging from tenth to the front by lap four.
As Hill pulled away from the field Ty Short began to work his way through the top five taking second with four to go. Hill was long gone and drove to his eighth win of the season. Short finished in the second spot with Nash a strong third. Fourth went to Nick Sap and Ryan Dryden rounded out the top five. Heats were won by Hill and Miles, Jr.
