RODNEY CORDREY ENDS THREE YEAR DROUGHT WITH AC DELCO WIN
The AC Delco PSC Modified 15-lap main was a smooth one with Rodney Cordrey taking command at the green and Westley Smith holding off Kevin Sockriter for second. The first and only yellow of the race came at the halfway point when point leader, Scott Hitchens came to a stop. On the restart attempt top five runner Carson Wright was called for the jump and restarted at the rear.
Cordrey remained smooth through the second half of the race with Smith controlling second. Brandon Watkins got up to third but Sockriter would regain the spot with two laps to go. Cordrey would go on to his first checkered in a number of seasons. Smith claimed second with Sockriter third. Fourth went to Watkins and Jordn Justice. Going into the final two point events only five points separate the top three (Hitchens, Justice and Watkins).
