IRONMAN JAMES HILL TAKES 11TH VICTORY IN MOD LITES
Brain Short put on a good run at the start of the 15-lap Mod Lite feature. The yellow was out on the second lap when Kirk Miles, Sr. came to a stop. On the restart, James Hill, who had started in ninth, shot from fourth to the front to lead lap three.
Cautions would keep the field tightly bunched but Nick Nash, who had climbed into second, would prove to be no match for Hill how drove to his 11th win of the season by almost 3.5 seconds. Tim White finished in the third spot with Jake Nelson and Ryan Dryden rounding out the top five. Heats were won by Hill and Nash.
