SCOTT HITCHENS GETS 2ND AC DELCO WIN - JORDN JUSTICE GET 1ST POINTS TITLE
Jordn Justice had wrapped up his first AC Delco 602 Sportsman championship before the start of Saturday night 15-lap feature. Freddy Massey would lead his first feature laps early on with Ryan Mortimer running in second.
Scott Hitchens took second on lap four and three laps later the yellow would fly as the leader, Massey lost the handle in the second turn and spun. Hitchens was now on top and Dwayne Crockett was running a tight second.
Justice moved in to challenge Crockett with five to go and with three to go took the spot. Hitchens wasn’t about to be caught as he drove to his second win of the year. Justice finished in the second spot with Crockett third. Fourth went to Matt Smith and rookie Ryan Riddle had his best finish in fifth. Heats were won by Hitchens and Crockett.
