Inside Line Promotions – TAMPA, Fla. (Feb. 24, 2015) – Tyson Hall is taking the lessons learned during the season-opening event and immediately applying them.

Hall, who competed at the extremely slick East Bay Raceway Park last weekend with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour, is slated to tackle Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Fla., this Friday and Saturday with the series.

“We got faster as the weekend went on,” he said. “We changed the car up and definitely learned some stuff. There’s some pretty good guys here in Florida so we’ll just take what we learned from last weekend and put it toward this weekend. We’re looking for a top-10 finish.”

Hall was unable to advance into a main event during the Ronald Laney Memorial last weekend at East Bay Raceway Park. However, he is confident the team gained valuable experience that will pay dividends throughout the season.

“It was one of the slickest race tracks I’ve been on,” he said. “It’s very hard to read. We tried some different stuff on the setup and it really helped us.”

Hall opened the event last Thursday by finishing second in a heat race. That relegated him to a B Main, which he placed sixth in to miss a transfer.

“I just didn’t have the car tight enough,” he said. “I should have tightened it up more to keep the momentum up around the top of the corners.”

Unfortunately, the car battled an overheating issue on Friday and Saturday, when Hall was forced to pull off the track early both nights in a B Main.

“The car got hot on us,” he said. “We thought we fixed the problem, but it did it again Saturday night so we pulled off to be safe. Hopefully everything is fixed for this weekend and we can get the results we are aiming for on Friday and Saturday.”
