RAIN FLOODS OUT HALL OF FAME NIGHT
Mother nature takes another race from the 2024 season. With over 7 inches of rain and another 1.5 inches expected at race time tonight we made the right call in cancelling on Wednesday.
It was determined Wednesday night that we had no time left in the week to attempt to make a go of Friday June 21st scheduled Hall of Fame night. Track staff couldn't have been more right. The Raceway Friday morning received over 2.5 inches of rain. Flash flooding the parking lot to the point of not being able to reach the equipment parked outside turn 1 in the early morning hours. More rain is expected throughout the day and up to and during race time.
We have rescheduled Hall of Fame night for Friday August 16th. The Martin County Fair night. The forecast looks favorable for our next night of racing, Wednesday June 26th. Gates open at 5:30 PM Hot Laps at 7:15 PM.
