Rick Conoyer started on the pole and led early on. Mike Harrison was a challenger early on as well until contact with the turn four wall and pulled off the racing surface. The event was slowed early on by several cautions. In the mix of things Kenny Wallace was able to take over the race lead and never looked back. Kenny had a big lead for majority off the race.
