FUNERAL SET FOR SATURDAY FOR GREG YOUNG
Gregory Allen Young, 50, of Pensacola, passed away Monday, October 29, 2012. Born on July 2, 1962 in Savannah, TN, he resided locally for most of his life. Greg was an electrician and was employed by Kellogg Brown & Root Construction. An avid race car driver, for 25 years he raced at Five Flags Speedway. He enjoyed Mardi Gras and was a member of the Krewe Duex, and loved spending time with friends riding his Harley Davidson. He will be remembered as a loving man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Preceded in death are his father, Kenneth Wayne Young and a sister, Gayla Porter. Left to cherish his memory, his mother, Loudene Young; fiancée, Tanya Jernigan; daughter, Jessicca Jernigan; son, Blake Mercer; granddaughter, Kali Herring; brother, Daryl Young (Lisa); nephews, Tyler Young, Chase Young and Justin Milam. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2012 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to The miracle League of Pensacola, P.O.
