RACING FRIENDS MOURN THE LOSS OF TED HOBBS.
Ted was as familiar at the track as a checkered flag. Ted was more than a fan, he was a BIG racing supporter...helping to sponsor many drivers over the years. Ted left this earth last Saturday, at the age of 65. He never let his disability stop him from doing everything he loved, from his family to racing.He always made time for his wife of 46 years Virginia, children and grandchildren Ted helped others through his community work with the Masonic Lodge and Zelica Grotto helping UCP and ARC, giving of himself until the end. He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene Wilburn; father, Theodore Hobbs, Sr.; brothers, Don and Frankie and sister, Carol.
He is survived by his loving wife, Virginia; son and daughter in law Carey Hobbs, wife Denee; daughter and son in law, Kim Lovern, husband Jeffery; four grandchildren, Kayla, Nathan, Brianna and Morgan whom he dearly loved.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Wed., Nov. 21 at 1:00 pm
at the funeral home with burial to follow at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens.
