graphic-51-tv-snowball-derby-ppv1For the second straight year, one of the most prestigious short track races in all of America, the Snowball Derby, will be broadcast through Speed51.com powered by JEGS.  The live online TV-style broadcast, through a longstanding partnership between Five Flags Speedway and Speed51.com, will capture all four-days of exciting racing action in Pensacola, FL from December 3-6.

“This is exciting news for our racers, sponsors and fans that cannot make it to the Snowball Derby, said Tim Bryant, promoter of Five Flags Speedway.  “Nothing replaces being here, but we know there are so many responsibilities that people have and not all people can be here every year.  That’s why we are offering this opportunity.  We have enjoyed working with Speed51.com for a long time and there is a lot of momentum building as we get closer to this year’s event.

Speed51’s TV-style coverage of the 48th annual Snowball Derby will be a “Signature broadcast event, with nearly a dozen cameras and a professional broadcast announcing team of industry-experienced commentators and pit-road reporters.

This event will have a 200-mile blackout (driving distance) from Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, FL.  The blackout will include the cities of Montgomery, AL to the north, Mobile, AL, and New Orleans, LA to the west and Tallahassee, FL to the east.

Fans can order their Snowball Derby PPV starting now.  In a time when prices to see a movie are averaging close to $12 per ticket, Speed51.com is offering incredible racing action at a high quality for a low price.  For $59.99 you can access all four nights of racing action from Pensacola, FL.  The four-day package averages $14.99 per day to watch some of the best racing action in the country.

“If I had the opportunity to see this race live, that would be my priority because of how good and prestigious the Snowball Derby is, said Bob Dillner, Executive Editor of Speed51.com.  “Our pay-per-view of the Snowball Derby last year was great, and we’ve improved our production quality immensely since then.  We have a top-notch team in place and have added additional resources to bring our coverage to the next level.  The Snowball Derby is the biggest short track event of the year and we are pleased to be able to offer exclusive and unparalleled coverage of it.
