2014-Snowball-Derby-Kickoff-Party-Matt-Kentfield-Daniel-Hemric-Beef-O-Bradys-537x350One of the most fun nights of Snowball Derby week takes place before haulers even enter the gates of Pensacola, Florida’s Five Flags Speedway.  It’s the Speed51.com Snowball Derby Kick-off Party presented by Anderson’s Maple Syrup at Downtown Pensacola’s Beef O’ Brady’s.  It’s a great night of fun and food at Beef O’ Brady’s, and a big part of what makes it so much fun is all the drivers that show up and let loose before getting serious about winning the biggest short track race in the country.

So drivers, this is your invitation to the Speed51.com Snowball Derby Kick-off Party.  We want as many drivers as possible to come down and hang out and have fun with us at Beef O’ Brady’s.

In addition to having a whole lot of fun, the night also serves a great opportunity for drivers to get noticed both at the restaurant and on Speed51 TV’s live online show that will be broadcast to fans all across the world for free.

Last year we had Bubba Pollard, Caleb Adrian, Brayton Haws, Spencer Davis, Chad Finley, Daniel Hemric and more come out.  We saw our own Bob Dillner play cornhole with Pollard, and Spencer Davis play some pinball.

Pollard and Adrian both had so much fun last year that have already confirmed their attendance once again.  Midwest star Dennis Prunty and Maine’s Cassius Clark are also among those who have already said they have intentions of showing up to Beef O’Brady’s that Tuesday night.

Drivers who are able to attend the event are encouraged to email Speed51.com Editor Brandon Paul atbrandon@speed51.com so that we can use your name in any pre-event promotions and also plan for potential appearances on the live online broadcast.

This year’s party is guaranteed to be even more fun.  Drivers, teams, fans, come on down to Beef O’ Brady’s at 22 S. Palafox St in Pensacola for what should be a great night of fun to kick off the 48th Annual Snowball Derby.

Race fans, if you can’t make it out to Beef O’ Brady’s for the Speed51.com Snowball Derby Kick-off Party remember that you can still watch the entire event live, for free, on Speed51.com.

The 48th Annual Snowball Derby weekend kicks off with the Cat Country/WEAR-TV3 Green Flag Party on Wednesday, December 2.  On-track activities start Thursday, December 3, for the opening practice rounds for the Snowball Derby Super Late Models and Snowflake 100 Pro Late Models.  The Five Flags Butler U-Pull-It Bombers and Beef ‘O’Brady’s Sportsman divisions will also have feature events on Snowball Derby Thursday.

The top Snowball Derby starting spots will be set on Friday, December 4 during WXBM 102.7 Pole Night at Five Flags.  The Five Flags Faith Chapel Super Stocks and Modifieds will also battle in their Snowball Derby features after Super Late Model qualifying.

The Allen Turner Hyundai Snowflake 100 takes center stage on Saturday, December 5 as the top Pro Late Model racers in the country qualify and battle for 100 laps at Five Flags.  In addition, Saturday’s action features the final 50-lap qualifying event for Snowball Derby drivers to make one last effort to qualify for the 300-lap Super Late Model race.  The Better Built Tool Box Pro Trucks will also have a 50-lap feature on Snowball Derby Saturday.

Then on Sunday, December 6, the green flag will drop on the 48th Annual Snowball Derby at 2 p.m. CT at Pensacola, Florida’s Five Flags Speedway.
