Snowball Derby Kickoff Party Tonight at Beef O’Brady’s in Pensacola
It’s time to kick off one of the biggest weekends in short track racing. On Tuesday night at Beef O’Brady’s in Downtown Pensacola, Florida, drivers, race fans and teams will gather to kick off the 49th Annual Snowball Derby in style.
The annual kickoff party provides all parties involved with a fun-filled atmosphere before the intensity heats up at Five Flags Speedway on Wednesday. There will be plenty of food, plenty of drinks and plenty of fun to be had.
Beginning at 6 p.m. CT/7 p.m. ET, the Snowball Derby Kickoff Show presented by JRi Shocks will be broadcast worldwide from Downtown Pensacola. The live broadcast will feature driver interviews, as well as some friendly competition between drivers and other personalities in attendance.
The live Snowball Derby Kickoff Show provides fans with a great opportunity to meet their favorite Late Model racers before the big race on Sunday. Over 20 drivers have made plans to attend the night’s festivities with more expected to show up for the party.
2015 Snowball Derby polesitter Ty Majeski will be in attendance, along with NASCAR Camping World Truck Series winner Grant Enfinger, NASCAR K&N Pro Series West champion Todd Gilliland and SRL champion Derek Thorn.
CARS Tour champion Raphael Lessard, Maine’s Cassius Clark, Myrtle Beach 400 winner Christian Eckes and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers Noah Gragson and Kaz Grala will also be in attendance.
Logan Boyett, Tyler Ankrum, Derek Scott Jr., Rick Crawford, Brandon McReynolds and Jacob Gomes plan to stop by Beef O’Brady’s on Tuesday night as well.
And if you’re more of a grassroots racing fan, “The Dirty Lew� Lewis Anderson – a Street Stock racer making the trip from Maine with an open trailer – will be in attendance.
