Kraig Kinser Wins World of Outlaws Dash Before Scoring Top Five at Fulton

Inside Line Promotions – FULTON, N.Y. (Oct. 9, 2018) – Kraig Kinser picked up his first dash victory of the season last Saturday at Fulton Speedway.

“It was a good night,” he said. “We had an early number for qualifying and qualified good. Then we ran well in the heat race and the dash.”

Kinser qualified fourth quickest. He placed second in a heat race before winning the dash to garner the pole position for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series A Main.

“We were pretty good,” he said. “I just stayed on the bottom groove a little too long and got passed at the end. We held onto second for a bit and then held onto third for a little bit. It was a good solid weekend for us to go in there and earn a top five.”

Kinser finished fifth, which was his fifth top five of the season.

“Hopefully it’s something we can keep doing and we can finish the year strong,” he said.

Kinser and the World of Outlaws have a trio of races on tap this weekend. The action begins on Friday at Jacksonville Speedway in Jacksonville, Ill. Terre Haute Action Track in Terre Haute, Ind., hosts the Wabash Clash on Saturday before the weekend wraps up on Sunday at Eldora Speedway near Rossburg, Ohio, for the Last Call for Them All.

“It’s somewhat close to home running in Illinois, Indiana and Ohio,” he said. “It should be a good weekend. Hopefully we can continue to run strong and have a solid three nights.”
