HoT and Nolan Wren Memorial await Gulf South

Cody Morris, TULSA, OKLAHOMA (3-27-2012) - The Griffith Trucking and Equipment ASCS Gulf South Region resumes the 2012 campaign with rounds three and four of a 2012 campaign featuring an impressive 26 events.

The action begins Friday night at Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco, Texas before pivoting to the southeast Saturday night for the 1st Annual Nolan Wren Memorial at the Gator Motorplex in Willis, Texas.

Friday night’s stand will mark the 1st of four ASCS Gulf South Region visits to the Heart O’ Texas ¼ mile bullring, while Saturday offers the 1st of three ASCS Gulf South Region trips to the high-banked, ¼ mile Gator Motorplex.

Both events feature a $3,000 check to the winner with $400 to start the A Main event.

The 2012 season marks the 21st year of sanctioning Sprint Car racing for the American Sprint Car Series, which brings the best of Sprint Car racing to dozens of different tracks throughout the nation and into Canada.
