Racing Returns Sunday For The Independence Day Summer Classic - Join Us!

After a month's absence, auto racing returns to the Georgetown Speedway Sunday (July 2) with the Independence Day Summer Classic: $3,500 to win, 35 laps, for the powerful Super Late Models plus a huge $1,776-to-win, 20-lap RUSH Late Model Series "Great Crate Race" event, Delmarva Chargers, Delaware Super Trucks and Southern Delaware Vintage Race Club.

Delicious food will be available from Fat Daddys BBQ in the pit and grandstand areas.

RC2U Racing will have the "kids' favorite" R/C track set up in the grandstand area.

Also, a fundraiser for Heroes Havens Inc. takes place under the white tent in the grandstand area.

A bicycle giveaway for boys and girls is sponsored by All About the Dogs Pet Spa!
