Blight Fourth at Highland

Kye Blight rolled into Highland (Ill.) Speedway on Wednesday evening for the $5,000-to-win Challenge of Champions event.

Nineteen DIRTcar Super Late Models were on hand for the event, and Blight enjoyed a great night behind the wheel of the Bar31 Team entry. He qualified second fastest in time trials with a 13.363-second lap to earn the second-starting spot for the feature.

He ran in the Top 5 throughout the finale before crossing the finish line in fourth behind Daryn Klein, Rodney Melvin, and Mike Harrison.
