Polewarcyk, Harmon, Harwood, Grenier, Caswell, Beecher visit victory lane!

Hudson, NH- Mother Nature graced us with another scorching hot day for racing and thankfully cooler heads seemed to prevail! The Granite State Pro Stocks and the New England Dwarf Car Series were in town for some sun and racing. The MLM Diagnostic Pure Stocks, Ridge runners and the Northeast Auto Imports Super streets were also in action.

Granite State Pro Stocks rolled out 2 heats races with wins going to the 90 of Casey Call and the 93 of Ryan Green. The 100 lap feature event would see strong action up front as Call would be a rocket early leading 64 of the first 66 laps. But Joey Polewarcyk would take the lead away on lap 67 and would never look back on his way to victory lane! Call would hold on to the 2nd spot. The 56 of Evan Beaulieau would make the pass for 3rd on lap 83 and would round out the podium. For full official results check out gspss.net.

The MLM Diagnostic Pure Stocks saw the 1nh of Carlos Grenier take down the heat race win. Grenier would go on the lead green to checker to capture the feature win. Rookie driver Bobby Payne in car #17 finished in the 2nd spot after running the entire race there as he did everything he could to catch Grenier. Rookie driver Shayla Kirk in the 71 found her way to the 3rd spot again. While the 21 of Mackenzie Belisle finished 4th and Chris Quin in the 76 finished 5th. Quin was disqualified for failing to go to tech.

Ridge Runners would see their heat race win going to the 47 of Brian Caswell. Richard Marrocco in the 7 would take the lead early in the feature till Caswell made a pass on lap 5 to take the top spot. Callie Osborne in the 59 would apply pressure to Caswell for most of the race. Osborne would lose the 2nd spot on lap 23 as her right front wheel bearing had left the chat. Osborne would be passed by her mother, Jessica Coulter in her #5 machine. Caswell would take the win followed at the line by Coulter, Osborne, Carl Gagnon (99nh) and Marrocco.

Northeast Auto Imports Super Streets saw “Porkchop” Austin Erickson capture the heat race win! Erickson would lead the field to the green and his day would be over early as contact after going 3 wide into turn 3 would see the need for the wrecker. Geoff Rollins in the 02 would inherit the lead. Rollins controlled the top spot until the 57 of Justin Beecher finally got him on lap 23. Beecher took the win followed by Rollins, Chuck Dehney 33w, Chip Laquire 96 and the 8 of John Sousa in 5th!

The New England Dwarf Car Series presented by Construction Site Machinery in association with Bumpy’s Auto Service rolled into town 19 cars deep for twin 20 lap features with lane choice or as we call it a cone race! Heat races would be used to set feature #1 and were won by the 26 of Eric Bacon, 0No of Chris Sullivan, and the 31 of Cody Hodgdon. By virtue of invert Andrew Harmon in the 14 found himself on the pole. The race would be slowed 3 times, including one red flag period due to the track being blocked. Harmon would be up to the challenge as he would pick up his first win of the season followed by Hodgdon and the 29 of Tom Harwood rounded out the podium. In the second feature Caden Robert’s 08x found himself on the pole and would lead early, till Harmon caught up and used the outside to take the lead. Harmons lead would be short lived as Harwood wrestled the top spot away on lap 12 and checked out to capture the win. Hodgdon would use a late pass to take the 2nd spot and Harmon had to settle for 3rd. For full results check out nedwarfcarseries.com!
