Battle@theBullring IV rules, eligibility requirements, format and entry forms are all under the rules tab on Humboldtspeedway.com This year the format has changed a bit as we will still accumulate passing points from 2 heats on thursday and 2 heat races on friday. Top 12 locked into the A feature, the 13-24 are locked into B-feature 25-36 locked into C-feature. From there on back drivers will have to make it out of last chance races to move into the alphabet soup.
Newest edition to this years event will be a Race of champions that will start with last years heat race winners to fill a field of 20 cars for 16 laps. $400 to win with $20 entry fee. Must be pre-entered to be eligible
Fast Shafts is the title Sponsor of the Race of states which will consist of drivers that have race in all 3 previous battles to represent their state, only 1 driver from each state will be represented, through random draw the drivers will be chosen, must be pre-entered to be eligible. $20 entry fee
Modifieds will race for $1000 to win each night and rules will be under each sanctioning bodies rule book, Usra cars must run kk704, Wissota must be legal to their tire and rule book, same with NCRA, Ump modifieds can run their tire rule and can run only 2"spoiler. IMCA Modifieds that run their g60 are allowed 6" spoiler.
In addition to making this race great Ernie Leftwich will be race director so i can dedicate more time the the track itself. Missy From the Mlra late model series has came on board to run transponders for this race at no charge to the racers. We are honored to have these two on board to help grow this race.
