Striegel rolls through Kansas beating the storm
Mike Striegel looked as if he was chasing a storm through the Kanas plains dominating the feature in route to his first feature win at Humboldt this year. A tough field of competitors led to the green flag with lightning off of turn 1 but it didn't distract the Outlaw from leading every lap while being chased by Tyler Kidwell who eventually passed Jeremy Chambers for second after a tough battle. Fourth went to Jess Folk Jr who's bad luck streak finally ended and is getting the car dialed in. Matthew Kay finished Fifth in the battered and bruised 1BB machine.
Loves Travel Stop Midwest Mods saw Ryan Smith of Moran pick up his second win of the year after riding the cushion up against the wall for all 16 laps in the feature. Jackson McGowen passed 6 cars to finish in the runner up position for the sixth time this season. Joplin, Missouri racer Jared McIntire made the 2 hr drive through detours only to find himself fall back to 8th place at one time but charged his way back to finish third. Tyler Davis finished right where he started after battling with Carter Brownsberger, the two racers battled sided by side for most of the race and Brownsberger ended up fifth.
USRA Tuner driver Brandon Vink set sail on his way to yet another feature win making it his sixth on the rain shortened season. No problems for Humboldt, Ks native Clint Haigler as he passed four cars on his way to a second place finish.
Colt Burk was on his way to the front but came up short finishing third followed by Maddyson Tyler of Parsons and another female racer Tessa Perry of Chanute.
