Joyce grabs the Bag at the Havoc at the Hummer and Johnson Doubles up

*Friday night it was the big night for the Home Savings Bank Factory Stocks as the Havoc at the Hummer was the featured class. Thanks to the good folks at Wilson Automotive and Dallas Joyce put together a purse, Leighton Clauman put money on random spots and Tony the Rockin DJ sponsored the events trophy. The night would see the largest turnout this year with 23 cars on tap. The heat race winners were Garrett Vannoster, Joey Richmond and Dallas Joyce. The feature would see Garrett Vannoster and Joey Richmond bring the field to the Rowe Motor Company green flag. Joey Richmond would grab the early lead followed by Dallas Joyce, Beau Davis and a host off tough drivers behind them. Joyce would work his way through the field and take the lead from Richmond, who would drop out a few laps later due to a caution taking him out along with Davis. Joyce would drive his way to the Pete's victory lane followed by Grant Reeve's, Chris Vannoster, Dylan Allen and Ethan Vance.

  • The Ray's Metal Depot USRA Bmods had two heats with Jacob Ellison and Andy Bryant grabbing the wins. Trett Bailey and KC Mullin would bring the field to the green. As the field started to settle in it was point leader Tyler Kidwell and Andy Bryant working their way to the front. The Ft Scott, Kansas driver Andy Bryant taking the lead and would set sail followed by Kidwell and Bailey. This would be Bryants First trip this year to the Pete's victory lane followed by Kidwell, Bailey, Jackson McGowen and Jacob Ellison.

*The Wilson Automotive Tuner/Mini Stock class and the heat race winners would Dillon Box and Clint Haigler. Last weeks feature winner Dillon Box was looking to double, but mechanical issues would keep that from happening. The feature would be a good one as Trent Wilson making his first rip to the Hummer a good one. Wilson would lead the field the majority of the race as Clint Haigler was trying to run him down. As the field came off turn 4 to the checkered flag Haigler made a last ditch effort but came up short by a bumper, Sending Wilson to the Pete's Victory Lane.

*The Extrusion Inc Midwest Modifeds would see 3 heat race's won by Matt Kay, Tyler Davis and Brad Jarman. Kay would dominate the feature win followed by Tyler Davis, Trevor Holman, Dylan Daniels, and Clint Drake. This was the 2nd time fore Kay to visit the Pete's Victory Lane.

*The ARMI Contractor's USRA Modifieds closed out the show and as always they delivered. The heat race wins would go Baldwin City's Henry Chambers and Lewis Jackson. Chambers looked like the car to beat as he has the Mullen's chassis on a rail, but mid race issues would send the 17 to the infield. That would open the door for last weeks feature winner Houston Johnson to take advantage of Chambers misfortune. Johnson had worked his way through the field and would go on the his 3rd win this year at the Humboldt Speedway.

*A great night of racing at the Humboldt Speedway and we are down to our last 4 races this year with next week being a regular points night.
