I-90 Speedway
May 25 cancelled - A note from Hot Rod
Hello fans,
This is getting to be a habit I wish I could drop, but ownership and management have to make the call to cancel this Saturday’s races at I-90 Speedway.
The frustrating part of it all, is the weather this weekend is going to be very nice! The problem is we have not had nearly enough days that were nice enough to dry out this 60 acre sponge that is still very saturated. We took a tour of the track last night and we literally sunk in mud just by walking. As I looked back on some pictures of the track, I took a picture of a lake on the infield and that was April 9th. We haven’t have much heat and sunshine since then.
With that being said, I would like to ask a favor of all of you fans, racers and teams. I have a list of businesses that have invested in our track and our great sport in one way, shape or form. We have not yet been able to give these great people the exposure they deserve for their investment. This is a list of people who understand the magnitude of this project.
If you would please take a minute to read this list, share this list with other members of our racing family, all of us at the speedway and I would really appreciate it. If you have a chance, drop them a note, give them a call, do business with them if you can, they will be assured their investment is appreciated.
