I-90 Speedway
Special ‘King of the Hill’ event this Saturday
In addition to the full show with the Paramount Racing Series, CCL Labels, Coca-Cola night will bring a special bracket style race to I-90 Speedway for the hobby stock and street stock divisions.
Tracy Halouska has been organizing the event. Here are the details and the supporter making it possible:
King of The Hill this Saturday (6/5) at I-90 Speedway for the hobby stocks and street stocks!
- The bracket will be determined by pill draw. Pills will be numbered 1 - 16. The draw will take place following the pit meeting.
-
- Drivers will line up feature style based on the pill number drawn (odds on the inside, evens on the outside).
- The race will be a green, white, checkered dash. Winners move onto the next round, losers will be done and will exit off of the backstretch. The winner of the first match-up will get back in line on the infield (using turn 2) and will choose to be inside or outside. The following winner will line up opposite of the line chosen.
- The race will start when Chuck flips the green LIGHT on. Each race will be started differently between turn 4 and the flagstand.
- This event will take place after the street stock feature, with the hobby stocks competing first. The hobby stocks will line up in staging based on pill draw and must be ready to go at the conclusion of the street stock feature. The street stocks will follow.
- Hobby stocks will pick up their pay at the scales. Street stocks pay will be delivered to your pit.
- The hobby stock lineup has been set, but if you have not been contacted or are interested in participating, contact Tracy and we will add you to the wait list. The street stocks have a few open spots, so if you plan to be there, you might as well join!
This would not have been possible without great people and sponsors putting up awesome payouts.
