August 24th Results & Recap

Racing action returned to the Jamestown Speedway this past Saturday night for Back to School Night (Backpacks provided by West End Hide Fur & Metal Co. & Johnson Racing Brothers for the Legends Backpack) with all regular classes racing presented by Midmach. The weather turned out to be beautiful, except there was a strong southern wind that provided for action for the night. Otherwise, it is a great night of racing action and we want to thank all of the drivers, fans, and track workers that came out to enjoy the action on Saturday. The track was outstanding, as it was very smooth and had a lot of racing grooves. We had a total of 101 cars in the pits. Congratulations goes out to our winners and runner-ups on Saturday night:

Bombers/Pure Stocks - 16 Cars:

• Winner: Greg Moore, Runner-Up: Dylan Sandberg

INEX Legends - 17 Cars:

• Winner: Donavin Wiest, Runner-Up: Drew Papke

Wissota Midwest Modifieds - 23 Cars:

• Winner: Zach Reinke, Runner-Up: Nate Reinke

Wissota Street Stocks - 20 Cars:

• Winner: Billie Christ (First Night on the Car), Runner-Up: Jonny Carter

IMCA Modifieds - 19 Cars:

• Winner: Casey Arneson, Runner-Up: John Corell

Jr./Sr. Slingshots - 6 Cars:

• Winner: Collin Compson, Runner-Up: Gavin Edinger

Once again, thank you to all of the drivers, fans, and track personnel that came out to the show on Saturday night. We really appreciate everyone's support at the Jamestown Speedway and we have to thank everyone for coming out. We hope all of the drivers had a great time and hope to see you guys back for the Stock Car Stampede.

Please join us next week for some more high-flying, action-packed racing on Jamestown's 1/4 mile high-bank oval. Next week Saturday, August 31th, is Season Championship Night along with the Kuchen Night at the Speedway with all regular classes running. The gates open at 5:30 pm and racing action begins at 7:00 pm. Hope to see everyone in Jamestown this Saturday for our final race before the 48th Annual Jamestown Stock Car Stampede!! Also, drivers don't forget to sign-up for the 48th Annual Jamestown Stock Car Stampede Calcutta auction, as it adds money into the prize fund for the Stampede weekend.
