Jamestown Speedway
2nd Annual Jeff Carpenter Memorial Results & Recap
The 2020 racing season continued on Saturday night at the Jamestown Speedway with a very special event. The Jamestown Speedway hosted the 2nd Annual Jeff Carpenter Memorial Race for the Wissota Midwest Modifieds and 40 Wissota Midwest Modifieds were in attendance! The racing action was hot and heavy throughout the night. There were several incidents throughout the night as the front stretch wall was a problem throughout the night. We are very happy to report that all drivers were okay from their incidents and hope to see them back on the track again soon.
The weather was very iffy all day as rain showers and storms were surrounding the Jamestown Speedway throughout the day. However, the weather went around the Jamestown Speedway and it turned into an absolutely beautiful evening for racing. The racing action was great as the track was very smooth, had multiple grooves for racing, and dry slick the entire night. We had a total of 120 cars in the pits! We have to thank all of the drivers, fans, and track workers that came out to enjoy the action on Saturday night and honor Jeff Carpenter.
