Big Right Night & Saturday Night Thunder Results & Recap

The Jamestown Speedway was back in action on Saturday, June 1st for the second time in the 2024 season presented by Dakota Trophy. The weather was beautiful and the track was in awesome condition. Thank you to the track prep crew who worked countless hours this past week to smooth out the track and provided a great dry slick surface for racing. Overall, it was a great night to be back at the track for racing and in total, we had 83 cars in the pits to do battle on Saturday Night.

Bombers/Pure Stocks - 18 Cars:

• Winner: Travis Edinger, Runner-Up: Kelly Hoerner
• Hard Charger: Kelly Hoerner +13 (15th to 2nd)

INEX Legends (Sponsored by Wright Insurance Agency) - 15 Cars:

• Winner: Evan Hendrickson (1st Jamestown Win!), Runner-Up: Donavin Wiest
• Hard Charger: Evan Hendrickson +8 (9th to 1st)

Wissota Midwest Modifieds (Sponsored by Gerdau Recycling) - 17 Cars:

• Winner: Zach Reinke, Runner-Up: Jarod Klein
  Hard Charger: Kyler Nielsen +6 (17th to 11th)

Wissota Street Stocks - 15 Cars:

• Hard Charger: Spencer Johnson +8 (14th to 6th)

Once again, thank you to all of the drivers, fans, sponsors, and track personnel that came out to the show on Saturday night. We really appreciate everyone's support at the Jamestown Speedway and we have to thank everyone for coming out. We hope all of the drivers had a great time and hope to see everyone back throughout the season.

Please join us next week for some more high-flying, action-packed racing on Jamestown's 1/4 mile high-bank oval. Next week Saturday, June 8th is the 5TH ANNUAL DON GUMKE RACERS' MEMORIAL at the Jamestown Speedway. The IMCA Modifieds will be running for $2,222 to WIN, $222 to START, and $122 for Non-Qualifiers. The INEX Legends will be running for an increased purse of $500 to Win as part of the Legendary Tour for the INEX Legends. The Wissota Street Stocks, Wissota Midwest Modifieds, Bombers, and Slingshots will also be in action. The grandstand gates open at 5:30 pm and racing action begins at 7:00 pm.
