The Super Cup Stock Car Series makes their inaugural appearance at Southern National Motorsports Park, which also marks the first time since 2011 that a series race will be held in North Carolina. This means that there will be many unknowns as almost all expected competitors have never raced at or even seen the 4/10-mile oval with 17 degree banked turns and 7 degree banked straightaways before.
Lauren Butler will be making the trip from West Mifflin Pa in the #53 Edlin Motorsports Impala SS to compete in the overall points standings.She is excited to be able to put her skills to work at a track she has never been at before. When asked about the track and what she was expecting her answer was to be able to bring the car home in one piece and to gain valuable knowedge in the way the car handles on the 17 degree banking
This event will award points toward the Overall and South championships at the conclusion of each 50-lap race.
